Current WIP count: 7
I made it into single figures! WOO HOOOO! But I’m still gonna keep knocking them off until I get to a proper, sensible number. Maybe 3 or 4.
The star blanket has been plodding on for far too long, and I’ve decided I’m going to finish it this week.
This is somewhat helped by the decision not to use a whole second Caron Cake on it. Firstly because it’s already big enough for a baby/toddler blanket, and secondly because the rounds are now so long that the colour sections can’t make a complete stripe all the way around.
So I’m very nearly finished!
It’s mind-numbingly easy now (having half done the stupid thing twice already) so to keep my brain in good working order I’m also piecing together this little celtic knot coaster.
Although it feels more like breaking my brain at the moment, trying to get every over and under in the right order is much more difficult than I remember.
That’s all for this week as I focus on the star blanket. What’s everyone else working on? What’s your ideal number of WIPs? Let me know in the comments!

Congrats on reducing your WIP count! My WIP list is far too many to count, plus I keep adding more! ::covers eyes in shame:: I keep starting stuff for my friend’s birthday in October and then for Solstice as well. Oh well, I’ll keep trudging, and one day I’ll whittle my list down!

Thanks! I’m trying very, very hard not to start a bunch of new WIPs, but it’s so difficult!

LOL I have 2 things that are 99% done but for some reason I can’t even look at them!!! I love that star blanket the colors are so pretty. I really really love the Celtic knot thing you’ve got going on! I’ve always been obsessed with Celtic knots!! 😀

Me too, I love all things celtic knotty! I’m actually considering getting a very small celtic knot tattoo at some point

Me too!! My hubby has a large celtic themed shoulder cap tattoo that covers his whole shoulder and bicep that is all knots and celtic animals. It’s pretty sweet and about 5% of the reason why I married him LOL! 😀

I get quite excited when I’m in the way to finishing something! And always seem to crochet a bit faster then!

I do that when it’s for a specific person and I get excited about seeing their reaction to it, but when it’s just for the shop and might just sit there forever and never be bought I don’t have quite the same enthusiasm!

I can imagine that. As I don’t have a shop, my projects are all either for me or someone else!
