I’ve got a deceptive tangle this week, tutorial here.
Looks easy peasy, doesn’t it? Maybe for seasoned tanglers it is, but dear me did I struggle!
First row, not too bad. Although I couldn’t seem to get them in a straight line.
Second row…
Not so much.
It’s definitely a case of practice makes perfect, as my second attempt was better:
Still not brilliant, but I can see the improvement.
So that’s Keeko! What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

Should be called basket weave!
I absolutely couldn’t do that one QuietWC. I’d bury myself in wasted paper! eeek! 😂 🤣

It’s a tricky one! But now my stubborn streak is coming out and I’m determined to practise until I get it right 😉

I agree, it reminds me of a basketweave crochet stitch!

I really must learn how to do that. I bet it’ll turn out neater in crochet than my tangle attempts!

The first row reminds me of Japanese writing but then when you added the other rows it looked more like a basket weave. It almost has like a 3D effect!! 😀

It looks super 3D when done properly; when I first saw it I thought it would be really complicated to make it look so pop-y, but nope it’s just the magic of tangling!
