Current WIP count: 6
I told you there would be some Tunisian WIPs coming up! I’m starting off simple, just a skinny scarf in this pretty blue-green colourway.
The yarn is 60% cotton and 40% acrylic from Hobbycraft.
I don’t know if it’s the slightly stonewashed quality of the colours, but to me it feels like that favourite pair of jeans you wear until they’re moulded to your body and soft as butter. Whenever I’m not working on it, I just end up stroking it.
Still loving the texture, and the fact that it looks a bit like knitting on one side.
For some regular crochet, I’ve also dragged my chevron blanket from the UFO pile. It will be finished this year!
That’s my WIP list for the week. What’s everyone else working on? Having a good week so far? Let me know in the comments!

I love both of them. Great work on the Tunisian crochet… It looks fab and the colours are gorgeous. Your chevron blanket looks like a mini beach at the moment! I’m gradually making progress with my spirits of life shawl. Spent some time sewing in ends last night!! I just don’t want them all left at the end of the project as I fear that would mean it never actually got finished 😯

So it does! Maybe I’ll call it my beach blanket, and that’ll hep keep me motivated 😉 Good plan with the ends, I always mean to do that but it’s never happened yet!

I remember seeing someone add little turtles to a blanket in beach colours… That was super cute 🐢

LOVE the scarf Hannah! It has that distressed look – and I’ve NEVER seen that on clothes or knitted/crochet items before. Absolutely love it.
(Love the zigzag at the end too … reminds me of ric-rac ‘ribbon’. Lovely job.

I’ve never seen it before either! It’s yarn that my Mum gave to me, she is magic when it comes to finding amazing new things that are just exactly what I need

It may or may not be up to 7 now :p I try to keep it as low as possible, if the number gets high enough I know I’ll just go “oh stuff it!” and start another 20 things immediately!
