First of all, how on earth is it the 20th already? I swear time started sprinting in April and hasn’t taken a walk break yet.
It’s been a busy, busy 7 days so I haven’t done very much this week. Last night I got some time to myself and made a proper start on my amigurumi dragon, somewhat hindered by having to start the tummy section 5 times. Curse those fiddly little stitches.
My knitted blanket is ticking along, I’m just about finished with the white section and I’m getting ready to introduce the blue.
I’ve also done a grand total of about 20 stitches on my Tunisian jumper. I miss the days when it was portable.
This Saturday should be an easy one and my plan is to make some real progress with my jumper. I think I’m dithering because it’s nearly time to attach the sleeves and I’m worried about messing it up, but the only way out is through so it’s time to just get on with it!
What’s everyone else working on this week? Got any tips for overcoming the crafting fear? Let me know in the comments!

Unfortunately I have no answer to the crafting fear… It’s silly really as most times of you mess it up you can just frog it and start over, which is highly irritating but not the end of the world. It seems my very unhelpful answer to it with my projects seems to be ‘stuff it in a bag ans how it either goes away or magically crochets itself when I’m not looking!’

Haha I shall keep my fingers crossed for it crocheting itself while I’m not looking!

It’s never worked for me… But you never know 😏

Stare that fear down and just do it! You can always rip it out and try again.

I know, it’s silly to be so scared of it really!

I can not wait to see that dragon completed. I think little crochet creatures are fantastic. =)

Can’t wait to see your dragon! And I love your colours for the Tunisian jumper (I’m sure I’ve already told you but I really really love them!). I have made a start on another of my LOTR squares, this blanket has taken me forever but I’m determined to finish it this year so I have to work on it! I’ve also been spinning like a madwoman this week and still loving it 😊

It’s going to be so tiny and cute when it’s finished! I want to do a LOTR blanket too, but that’s a wee bit too big of a WIP to add to my already-massive list…

Yes it’s definitely a huge project! I think I underestimated it when I first started it…
