I’m breaking one of my own rules here: Don’t crochet tired.
But honestly what else am I supposed to do at silly o’clock in the morning, after lying in bed staring at the ceiling for hours?
This way at least the blanket is keeping me warm and I can do some catching up. Maybe crochet will even do it’s magic thing and quiet my brain, so I can try sleeping again and it might actually work.
Cross your fingers for me?

I do this sometimes too and the only caveat for me is if you’re doing a certain pattern where you really have to pay full attention or else, like in lace knitting. Hope you slept well afterwards π

Thankfully I was on a really simple bit of the pattern so I hopefully didn’t mess it up!

I often fall asleep mid row and the husband gently prises my knitting needles away from me so I donβt stab myself π

I haven’t stabbed myself (yet), I just tend to make really stupid mistakes that I then have to frog when I’m awake again!

Hope that helped you sleep, and hope you didn’t make any mistakes! π

I got there eventually, and as far as I can see there were no silly mistakes. Success!

I hope it worked. Sometimes knitting is so calming for me it helps me fall asleep.

It did help in the end, I just know once I pass a certain level of tired then I’m far more likely to do something wrong.
