All of the WIPs

Current WIP count: 9

Yes, actually nine, but I can explain!

I’m doing a wee test knit of some baby bonnets. They took less than an hour each and as soon as I stitch the ears on they’ll be done and off the list.

I do so love cute baby makes.

I’ve also been chugging along with Flax, and you can already tell it’s going to be a jumper.

Turns out miles of stockinette is still miles of stockinette, even with a thicker yarn, and I’m starting to get a bit twitchy with it (hence the pattern test). But just working on it a little bit at a time throughout the day will get me there eventually, and at least it won’t take me 9 months like the Flax Light!

How’s everyone doing? I hope your yarn is keeping you happy and less anxious 🙂

  1. It’s that question, isn’t it ?, about knitting: do I make it really simple so that I can power through it, or do I make it actually interesting to do ..?
The ideal solution is a combination of both: d’you think such a pattern exists, Hannah ?

  2. Flax is going to be lovely. I can’t seem to get involved in knitting as I’m cut off from my kitchen and craft room is on the other side. We’re having kitchen tile laid in all this pandemic so I’m behind plastic barricades with a bit of food, tv, and one project. Also stressed out over husband going to work all over the Cape. He’s a builder.
