Ends and ribbing

Current WIP count: 8

I’m still working away at my Beachcombing CAL

I’m even being a grown up and working the ends in (almost) as I go, instead of leaving them all to the end. That’s my task for today.

Turns out the only thing I like less than sewing in ends is doing ribbing on 2mm needles. This is as far as I’ve got:

But in my defence, I did accidentally pull out a needle yesterday and had to start again.

I will get there eventually!

  1. It’s so crazy how different knitters like different things! I’ve heard so many people say they hate ribbing, but I love it. I love the rhythm of the yarn going back and forth. Good for you for persevering!

  2. Weaving in ends as you go is smart. I tell myself I should do that, but I keep pushing it off until the end….then there is much regret and sadness at all the ends I have to weave in.
