I’m kind of liking having two pairs of socks to work on at the same time, especially as one is simpler than the other. If I want a little bit of brain work, I knit my neon rainbow socks.
And if I want to just zone out while watching the new episodes of Lucifer (eeeeeh!!) then I can work on the boyfriend’s socks.
It’s perfect! Y’know aside from the ridiculously long DPNs I’m having to use for the rainbow socks, but you can’t have everything.

I watched the first 6 episodes of the latest season of Lucifer today, whilst I was felting some lampshades. Oh my he is in great shape this season, but he’d be gorgeous even with a pooh bear tummy I’m sure.

Oh yes, socks look great by the way. Did you like the garter heel edge of HES for picking up stitches? It makes it so much easier I find.

I do not like it at all, I find other heel types make it much clearer where I’m supposed to pick up stitches. The pattern also confused me a bit with splitting the heel and top part in half over two needles, but that probably says more about my brain’s computing power.

Well now you know, so many heels and toe options out there so that’s good.

Oh. Is it easier because you’re supposed to slip the first stitch every time you turn, which isn’t written in the pattern anywhere?

I don’t slip them on the flap, I find it easier because it is garter stitch, not stockinet so easy see every stitch. But what works well for me doesn’t mean it works for everyone. 😀
