Remember that test knit cowl I was doing the other day (or maybe ten years ago. I really can’t tell) with all the cables? Well I finished it.
Then I kept going and made an ear-warmer.
And then there was just a teeny bit of yarn left so I finished up with a headband.
They are SO warm and cosy.
I also managed to finish the jumper in time for posting tomorrow, and I love it.
Although I was mad at myself when I got to the end and realised there were 32 ends to sew in. Single-colour jumpers from now on!
And finally, my Diagon Ally socks are finished. The pattern isn’t as obvious in the darker yarn, but I still love them.
Blocking to follow when I’ve sewn in the ends and we’ll see what effect it has on this cottony sock yarn.
This brings my WIP list down to a slightly more sensible 6. I feel like I might have given myself a case of finish-itis; crossing all these WIPs off the list felt good and I really want some more of that. I’ll let you know how it goes!

You have been so productive! I’m impressed. That sweater is adorable. I love a good matching cowl and headband set too.

I felt a bit self-conscious when I first wore the set out, but then I was so warm and snuggly that I didn’t even care! I could easily get used to matching sets.

Oh, well done you !!
The blocking is what’s preventing me from showing the first two seasons of my temperature blanket – which is no longer one but a scarf. You think 32 ends a problem ? – you don’t know NUTHIN.

If only there was a way to make pretty, colourful things without creating ends. I would get so much more done!

All your WIPs look great! It does feel nice to start crossing things off the list, doesn’t it 🙂 I love the cowl and matching ear warmer and headband!

It definitely does – I finished another thing over the weekend! It’s quite addictive when I get going.

Nice! They are all super lovely. I bet it does feel good to have less WIPs. I will have a think on that.

It does feel good, but mainly because I now have more slots to start new projects. I’ve got to keep some variety going.

I love all the finishes but I think the earwarmer might be my favorite!

I think the little jumper is mine, but then the cowl set is such beautiful colours it’s a very close second.

Great idea to use up all that yarn to make a headband. I love the buzz of an FO so you must be feeling great working through your WIPs

There was just so little left, I really didn’t want to put it back into my stash. Stash busting and FOs is a great combination 😀

Oh my gosh, the child’s sweater is fabulous and just buck up and keep doing stripes, ends be damned. It is gorgeous! Also headband, ear warmer and cowl are all awesome. I love the ivory ribbing, such a great idea to make the colors pop.

That was my plan, and they turned out even poppier than I expected! I love a good contrast.
