Oh goodness. Has it really been over a month since I posted? Not sure how that happened.
There’s still no crafting going on over here so nothing to show on that front, but the boyfriend and I finally got permission from the landlord to get pets so…
Blogville, please meet Rosie and Jim. These pretty pretties are lovebirds. Rosie is the one with the gorgeous blue streak and Jim is the darker one – aren’t they both BEAUTIFUL!!
They’re not hand-tamed yet but we are working on that slowly. Be prepared for some serious birdie overload once we get to the stage of being able to play with them properly.
So yeah, that’s all my updates for now. I’ll try not to leave it another month before my next post. No promises though.

Hahaha Rosie and Jim! Do you live on a narrow boat 😉. They are very pretty. My husband has a parrot that is 20+ years and not even middle aged yet! It’s not as pretty as these two.

I used to have lovebirds. I loved them so much… the best happy sound in the house was from those birds. I never had them hand tamed because… cat!! In later years after that cat had crossed the rainbow bridge we let them fly free for exercise and was just amazing how aerodynamic they were with their short wings and tails. They could swoop around the corners of the hallway like little jet planes. They always returned to the cage after a couple of hours to get the fresh food I put in there for them. So fun! Enjoy your two. 🙂

How absolutely lovely! They are just beautiful 🦜 🦜but are they noisy? When we had our apartment in Miami these green parrot flocks would circle the building screeching but they were so amazing to see. We were on the 10th floor so sometimes they would land in the tree below us and make quite a (cute) racket but being green they were impossible to see once in the trees!
