Oops, I lied

Or forgot. Either way there’s one more stress purchase to show off.

Dinosaur stitch markers!

The blurriness is not your eyes; even the boyfriend’s (much better) phone camera struggled with the pearlescent sheen on these pretties. But that’s why I wanted them so much, so I’m not complaining!

My only issue is it kind of bugs me that one of them is facing right when the others are all facing left. But I very rarely use 4 stitch markers all together so I’m sure I won’t notice when I’m actually making something with them, and they’re super cute no matter which way they face!

These were my first ever purchase from Folksy and I suspect they will not be my last.

Here endeth my pandemic spending spree. For reals this time.

I’m (still) a stress buyer

So there are even more new goodies to show off!

Firstly, my love of Doctor Who had to be recognised so I ordered a box from Twisted Yarns Store on Etsy, which included candles:

A sticker of the ninth Doctor, which I’ve misplaced (not too gutted – he’s not my Doctor).

Some stitch markers:

And some pretty, pretty sock yarn minis:

It was the blue that really sold me. It’s so deep and Tardis-y and gorgeous.

I treated myself to a couple of pin badges, then found a few more while sorting my extensive jewellery collection, so my crafty bag now looks like this:

I don’t think I’ve shared a project bag I got from Clara Rose Crafts on Etsy so here it is:

It came with stitch markers attached and a cool freebie!

There were also some less exciting but useful items, like more T-pins and some fancy blocking combs. No idea if that’s what they’re actually called, but that’s what they remind me of.

That’s everything I’ve ordered during lockdown (at the moment) so that’ll be my last happy mail for a while. Better get back to using up some stash!

I’m a stress buyer

I’m really trying not to add to stash mountain, but I can’t not spend money on crafty stuff when I’m this anxious.

So instead I’ve been looking at some shiny new accessories. First up I wanted a proper project bag, and I spotted this one on Jibbyroo Sews:

Which came in the prettiest packaging with a proper nice teabag and a free stitch marker.

I deeeefinitely recommend the Etsy shop if you’re looking for some pretties.

Then I went on a search for some stitch markers, and geezo are there a lot to choose from! It turned out to be an easy peasy choice though, as soon as I saw a set of afternoon tea markers from KoPo UK:

I can’t believe how teeny and perfect they are – just look at that little crumpet! And the sugar cube feels like a real sugar cube! Also on the recommend list for sure.

There were so many pretty things in both shops it’s very likely I’ll be visiting again next payday.

Unicorns and snowflakes

Look at the little goodie pack that arrived from Sarah Jane this week!

I love the modified card 😀

This little pretty was a reward for sharing my favourite bit of advice:

That’s handmade, isn’t it amazing! It’s so teeny.

I was not expecting a bunch of other stitch markers as well. And they’re unicorns! And rainbows! Two of my favourite things!

I’m currently resisting the urge to cast on allofthethings so I can use them all, but we’ll see how long that lasts. I do have a monster stash to use up after all.

Thanks Sarah Jane, I love them!
